Jyoti Nooran and Sultana Nooran, arguably the best and the most original talent to have come from Punjab in recent years. Their father, Ustad Gulshan Meer, son of the famous late Ustad Sohan Lal, is not only their guru but often also performs with them in concert! Their powerful and sturdy voice enthused and captivated people across age groups .They are a Sufi singing duo from Sham Chaurasia gharana of classical music. The singing duo sensation is known for their powerful voices.

The Nooran sisters were spotted on a TV Show and soon their popularity burgeoned, getting them to perform not just in India but across the world.

The Nooran Sisters featured on the song ‘Allah Hoo’ on Coke Studio, which led to their singing ‘Pataka Guddi’ for A.R. Rahman on the ‘Highway’ soundtrack in 2014, which exploded them on the national scene. Since then they have sung several hits for Bollywood films.

They won the MIrchi Music Awards for Female Vocalist of the year 2014 & 2015.
